Sew a Scout-Inspired Baby Carrier with The Voyager Pattern

If you love the Sakura Bloom Scout, I have a fun one for you: you can sew your own version with The Voyager, one of my soft structured carrier patterns. In my newest YouTube video, I show you how I hacked The Voyager into a Scout-inspired carrier and explain what I changed along the way, so you can follow along with your own copy of the pattern.

If you already own The Voyager, this is a way to get a whole new carrier out of a pattern you have. If you don’t have it yet, you can grab it here: THE VOYAGER PATTERN.

One reminder before you start cutting — any time you change a pattern, take your time with it. Keep following The Voyager’s reinforcement stitching, and check every seam and piece of hardware on your finished carrier before you wear your baby in it.

When you finish yours, I’d love to see it! Share a photo in The Sew Toot Patterns Facebook Group. Let’s Sew!

Sew Toot isn’t affiliated with Sakura Bloom. The Scout is their carrier, and this video shares my own homemade take on it.
